How to broadcast your promotional flyers and catalogs on a large scale on WhatsApp, Messenger and major Messaging apps?

Since Thursday, September 1st, the Oui Pub system has been activated in 14 zones throughout France. The inhabitants of Bordeaux, Dunkerque or Côtes d’Armor for example, who did not stick the “Oui pub” sticker on their box, do not receive any more leaflets. This is the beginning of a revolution for promotional communication and drive-to-store.




This time it’s here: we have to find a real alternative to the unaddressed paper catalog and plan a radical transformation of the way retailers inform their customers about products and offers available in store.

This is a matter of urgency, as the volumes involved are considerable. In France alone, the European Letterbox Marketing association estimates that 21 billion promotional leaflets and catalogs are distributed each year (sic)! And the paper catalog media alone still generates 13% of the traffic in stores (source: Mme Benchmark).

Major players such as Carrefour have already announced the total elimination of promotional paper catalogs and have already launched large-scale distribution of digital catalogs on WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger, thanks in particular to the combination of innovative technologies Alcméon (business messaging hub) and ARISTID (Retail Offer Data Lake).

It is now possible to recruit customers en masse via “click-to-messaging” advertising, buttons on your websites or QR codes in stores to send them regular promotions from their favorite stores on WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and soon other channels.
